Magic 114, Lakers 105: Tobias Harris collected a season-high 28 points and a career-high 20 rebounds as Orlando took down visiting Los Angeles.

Arron Afflalo scored 23 points and Jameer Nelson added 22 as the Magic won for the second time in the last 14 games. Victor Oladipo contributed 15 points and 12 rebounds for Orlando, which went 9-of-17 from 3-point range.

Pau Gasol recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds while Kendall Marshall added 19 points and 14 assists for the Lakers, who dropped to 2-4 on their seven-game road trip. Jodie Meeks chipped in 17 points and Nick Young scored 16 off the bench for Los Angeles.

The Lakers held a 55-53 lead at the break and began the third quarter with a 10-2 burst to make it a double-digit edge before the Magic caught fire. Oladipo and Nelson knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to begin a 16-3 burst that gave Orlando the lead, and Afflalo scored five on a 14-0 run ending the period to send the Magic into the fourth with a 91-80 edge.

Marshall’s 3-pointer pulled Los Angeles within 100-94 with 4:58 left but Nelson responded with a 3-pointer and Kyle O’Quinn dunked to push it back to an 11-point advantage with 4:03 to play. Nelson connected again from long range with 1:05 remaining to keep it a double figure lead and help put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Lakers close out their road trip at New York on Sunday. … Los Angeles F Xavier Henry (knee) had a setback in his recovery and will undergo an MRI on Monday when the team gets back home. … Orlando improved to 2-14 with C Nikola Vucevic (concussion) sidelined.
