Grizzlies 91, Kings 90: Mike Conley scored 25 points and secured a jump ball in the final seconds as host Memphis held on to beat Sacramento.

Courtney Lee scored 17 points and Marc Gasol added 16 points and four blocks for the Grizzlies, who have won a season-high five consecutive games and moved above .500 for the first time since Dec. 3. DeMarcus Cousins racked up 22 points and 17 rebounds, Rudy Gay scored 19 points and Isaiah Thomas chipped in 14 points and nine assists for the Kings.

Sacramento had a chance for the final shot but Gay was stripped on the way up and was incredulous when officials called for a jump ball with 1.9 seconds left rather than a foul. Gay won the tip and flicked it toward Cousins in the paint, but he couldn't handle it and Conley snagged it and flung in the air to run out the clock.

Gay scored eight straight and Thomas tacked on five more as the Kings reeled off a 13-2 run early in the fourth quarter to take an 84-77 lead. Memphis allowed just one field goal over the final five minutes as it rallied to regain the lead on Gasol's free throws with 1:54 left and held on.

Sacramento opened up a seven-point lead after Derrick Williams' three-point play with 7:45 left in the second quarter -- the largest margin all night for either team. Conley hit buckets to bookend a 9-0 burst as Memphis surged to a five-point advantage before Williams converted another three-point play to pull the Kings within 44-42 at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Memphis G Tony Allen (wrist) missed his seventh straight game and is considered day-to-day. … Cousins recorded his 13th consecutive double-double, tying LaSalle Thompson for the longest streak since the Kings moved to Sacramento. … Zach Randolph and Gasol each had four of Memphis' 13 blocked shots.
