Raptors 94, Timberwolves 89: Kyle Lowry had 24 points as Toronto won its sixth consecutive home game.

Lowry knocked down six 3-pointers while adding six assists for the Raptors, who have fashioned their longest home winning streak since February 2010. Amir Johnson poured in 19 points while Terrence Ross added 16 and DeMar DeRozan had 15 despite shooting 5-of-17 from the field.

Kevin Martin's 18 points paced the Timberwolves, who have lost 10 consecutive meetings in Toronto. Kevin Love added 16 points and 12 rebounds while J.J. Barea had 14 points off the bench.

Toronto held the Timberwolves to 6-of-23 shooting in the first quarter en route to a 22-15 lead and used seven straight points from Patrick Patterson to fend off a Minnesota rally early in the second. Lowry knocked down a pair of 3-pointers later in the period to stretch the lead to double digits, and the Raptors survived a late Timberwolves run to carry a 44-40 advantage into the break.

Minnesota drew to within one in the opening minute of the third quarter, but a trio of Lowry 3-pointers highlighted an 18-6 outburst that put Toronto in front by 14 en route to a 69-61 edge entering the fourth. The Raptors missed their first six shots of the final period and the Timberwolves made it a one-possession game with under five minutes remaining but Jonas Valanciunas' 11-foot baseline jumper helped quell the Minnesota surge, and Lowry hit another 3 inside 15 seconds left to put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Raptors PF Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) missed his eighth straight contest. Head coach Dwayne Casey told reporters before the game that a doctor diagnosed Hansbrough with a bone bruise, but there's no timetable for his return. ... Toronto SF John Salmons left in the first half with back spasms and did not return. ... Love secured his league-leading 33rd double-double of the season with a rebound early in the second half.
