Kings 124, Cavaliers 80: Isaiah Thomas led the way with 26 points and six assists as Sacramento crushed visiting Cleveland to record its third straight win.

Rudy Gay added 20 points and DeMarcus Cousins collected 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Kings, who outscored the Cavaliers 94-48 after the first quarter. Derrick Williams and Jimmer Fredette had 13 points apiece off the bench and combined for five 3-pointers as Sacramento knocked down 15-of-30 from beyond the arc.

C.J. Miles scored 14 points and Luol Deng had 12 in his second game for Cleveland. Kyrie Irving was limited to seven points on 3-of-14 shooting as the Cavaliers dropped to 3-16 on the road.

Cleveland held a 35-30 lead early in the second quarter before the Kings took control. Fredette scored eight points and Gay added seven during a 19-4 run to give Sacramento the lead and the Kings took a 59-50 advantage into the break.

The Cavaliers went over four minutes without a field goal near the beginning of the third quarter and Sacramento stretched the lead to 70-53 on Gay’s 3-pointer. A 19-3 spurt ending the third made it a 29-point gap and the Kings piled on in the fourth quarter en route to their biggest win of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sacramento has scored at least 100 points in 12 straight games and finished up a five-game homestand with a 3-2 mark. … The Cavaliers shot 38.8 percent in the contest and 31.6 percent after the first quarter. … Kings F Jason Thompson grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds to go along with eight points.
