Rockets 114, Wizards 107: James Harden scored a game-high 25 points as visiting Houston overcame a fourth quarter rally to knock off Washington.

Dwight Howard added 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting for the Rockets, who have won three of their last four games. Terrence Jones contributed 19 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and three blocks while Jeremy Lin finished with 18 points and eight assists.

John Wall had 23 points and 10 assists while Trevor Ariza collected 23 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Wizards, who have lost two straight and five of their last seven. Kevin Seraphin scored a season-high 18 points off the bench and Bradley Beal notched 13 points for Washington, which connected on just 5-of-19 from 3-point range.

The teams finished the first quarter knotted at 29-29 as each side began the game with a hot hand, shooting better than 60 percent. Houston doubled up the Wizards in the second quarter to take a 63-46 edge into the locker room at halftime, and Washington was only able to cut into that advantage by two points while finishing the third quarter down 94-79.

The Wizards stormed past the Rockets in the final stanza, opening with a 23-3 run to take a 102-97 lead with 5:26 to play. Houston went more than eight minutes without a field goal before Harden pulled the Rockets even with a layup and put them in front for good with a 3-point play on the next possession as Washington missed its last 15 attempts from the field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The game was delayed twice for a total of 51 minutes due to a leak in the roof. ... Houston SF Chandler Parsons missed his second straight game with a hamstring injury. ... The Rockets improved to 11-3 against Eastern Conference teams, winning for the fifth time in their last six meetings with the Wizards.
