Trail Blazers 110, Magic 94: LaMarcus Aldridge had 36 points and nine rebounds as host Portland knocked off Orlando.

Nicolas Batum contributed 14 points, a career-best 14 assists and 10 rebounds for his fourth career triple-double. Wesley Matthews scored 17 points for the Trail Blazers, who used a 26-9 burst at the start of the fourth quarter to take control.

Arron Afflalo scored 22 points and Jameer Nelson had 17 points and 10 assists for the Magic, who lost their fifth straight game. Glen Davis added 16 points and Victor Oladipo scored 14.

Portland trailed by four entering the fourth quarter before Matthews scored five straight points to start the fourth-quarter flurry and Damian Lillard capped it with a 3-pointer to give the Trail Blazers a 97-84 lead with 4:05 to play. A 3-pointer by Matthews made it a 15-point margin with 2:13 remaining and Portland finished off the 39-point final quarter.

Afflalo scored 18 first-half points as Orlando led 51-45 at the break. Portland used an 11-2 run to forge a tie at 66 on Lillard’s 3-pointer before the Magic took a 75-71 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Portland made 5-of-10 3-pointers in the final quarter after going 4-of-20 over the first three quarters. … Orlando committed five of its 10 turnovers in the final stanza. … The Trail Blazers have scored 85 combined points in the fourth quarter of the past two games.
