Suns 117, Lakers 90: Gerald Green scored 22 points off the bench and made six 3-pointers as host Phoenix rolled past Los Angeles for its eighth victory in nine games.

Fellow reserve Marcus Morris added 19 points and connected on five 3-pointers while Miles Plumlee contributed 17 points and a career-best 20 rebounds for the Suns. Eric Bledsoe had 16 points, a season-best 11 rebounds and seven assists while Goran Dragic added 12 points and seven assists.

Nick Young scored 19 points and Jodie Meeks added 18 for the Lakers, who were routed for the second straight contest. Xavier Henry scored 13 points and Pau Gasol had 10 after missing with one game with a respiratory issue.

Green had 14 first-half points, including a sequence in which he made three 3-pointers in 105 seconds as Phoenix opened up a 12-point lead. Plumlee already had a double-double at the half as the Suns led 64-51.

A 12-1 surge in the third quarter boosted the lead to 82-58 with less than four minutes left. The lead was 22 entering the fourth and the Suns cruised to their fifth consecutive home victory over the Lakers.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Suns had a commanding 62-39 rebounding edge. … The Los Angeles reserves were outscored 61-33 by their Phoenix counterparts. … Green is averaging 21 points over the last three games and has made 16-of-31 3-pointers during the stretch.
