Clippers 108, Pelicans 95: Blake Griffin collected 21 points and 10 rebounds and DeAndre Jordan added 14 points and 20 boards as host Los Angeles spoiled Anthony Davis’ return.

Jared Dudley scored 20 points and Jamal Crawford added 17 for the Clippers, who won their third straight. Darren Collison added 14 points off the bench while Chris Paul recorded 12 points and 11 assists.

Davis, who missed the previous seven games with a broken hand, came off the bench to lead New Orleans with 24 points and 12 rebounds in 32 minutes. Tyreke Evans, who sat out the last two games with an ankle injury, recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in 33 minutes off the bench but the Pelicans dropped to 0-3 on their five-game road trip.

The Clippers took a 52-45 lead into the half and let New Orleans hang within four points early in the third quarter when Crawford’s 3-pointer sparked a 15-2 burst. The lead swelled to as much as 18 points before Davis led a brief run that cut it to 78-65 heading into the fourth.

Collison was fouled on a 3-point attempt with 4:18 left in the game and hit all three free throws to push the lead out to 99-81. The Pelicans would cut it back to 12, but Paul’s 3-pointer with 1:54 to play made it 103-87 and Los Angeles coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: F Ryan Anderson contributed 17 points and nine boards while PG Jrue Holiday picked up 13 points and 10 assists for the Pelicans. … Clippers F Matt Barnes (eye) was available for the first time since Nov. 18 but did not get off the bench. … Davis, who was injured on Dec. 1, was expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.
