Celtics 108, Bucks 100: Jordan Crawford led the way with 25 points as Boston finally got the better of visiting Milwaukee.

Jeff Green added 18 points and Brandon Bass had 16 and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who had fallen to the Bucks twice this season. Avery Bradley scored 15 points and went 3-of-6 from 3-point range as Boston drained 11 from beyond the arc.

O.J. Mayo had 19 points to lead Milwaukee, which had claimed a 92-85 victory over the Celtics at home on Saturday. Brandon Knight chipped in 15 points and hit a 3-pointer to pull the Bucks within 99-96 with 1:09 left before Boston closed it out.

The Celtics knocked down their first four 3-point attempts and shot out to a 22-9 lead midway through the first quarter. Boston settled for a 48-41 lead at the break before the Bucks came out on fire, hitting their first five shots of the third quarter to draw within 55-53.

Milwaukee kept it close throughout the third but never managed to jump ahead as Green hit back-to-back 3-pointers late in the period to help the Celtics keep a 69-63 edge heading into the fourth. Six straight makes from Courtney Lee and Crawford early in the fourth pushed the lead to 84-71 and Boston held Milwaukee off the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bucks have dropped 12 of 13 and own only one victory against a team other than Boston - a 109-104 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 6. … Milwaukee F Ersan Ilyasova (hamstring) returned after missing Saturday’s contest and scored seven points in 21 minutes off the bench. … Green is averaging 23.3 points in the last four games.
