Lakers 106, Pistons 102: Wesley Johnson scored 27 points, including a career-best six 3-pointers as visiting Los Angeles rallied to take down Detroit.

Shawne Williams piled up 20 points, including six 3-pointers of his own, and nabbed nine rebounds for the Lakers, who won their second straight game. Pau Gasol and Jordan Farmar added 13 points apiece and Gasol grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds for Los Angeles, which connected on 14-of-31 from beyond the arc.

Rodney Stuckey totaled 22 points off the bench for the Pistons, who have dropped two in a row. Greg Monroe tallied 19 points and eight rebounds and Brandon Jennings contributed 19 points and nine assists for Detroit, which couldn't keep pace with the Lakers' long-range efforts, sinking just 1-of-8 from 3-point range.

The Lakers took a slim lead into the locker room at halftime, up 56-55 behind Johnson's 18 points. While Los Angeles had the long-range shot working early, knocking down 8-of-17 3-pointers before the break, Detroit's entire first-half offense was comprised of 48 points in the paint and seven free throws.

Despite a 32-point third quarter that helped establish a 10-point edge, Detroit had trouble pulling away and Williams' sixth 3-pointer of the game knotted things at 99 with 2:11 to play. With Los Angeles leading 104-101 with 33 seconds remaining, Jennings was fouled by Farmar on a 3-point attempt but only managed to hit one free throw and Josh Smith was called for a charge on the ensuing possession to help the Lakers seal the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Smith finished with a game-high 19 rebounds to go with eight points, eight assists and five steals, though he struggled from the field, shooting just 4-of-16. ... The Pistons were 13-of-25 from the free-throw line. ... Los Angeles won despite turning the ball over 17 times to Detroit's 14 and getting outrebounded 55-44.
