LeBron James scored 27 points and Dwyane Wade added 22 points, a team-high seven rebounds and six assists as visiting Miami held on for its 13th consecutive win over Toronto.

No one else scored in double figures for the Heat, whose nine straight wins give them the longest active streak in the league. Mario Chalmers dished out eight assists and added three steals as Miami improved to 5-2 on the road.

DeMar DeRozan tallied 25 points and seven rebounds to lead the Raptors, who have lost two straight but remain atop the Atlantic Division. Rudy Gay added 21 points and 11 boards and Kyle Lowry scored 15 for Toronto.

The Heat led 68-48 after James' 3-pointer with 8:25 remaining in the third quarter, but the Raptors managed to pull within 78-70 entering the final stanza. Toronto trimmed it all the way to 83-81 on Gay's putback of a missed free throw by DeRozan but James answered with a 3-pointer and it didn't get that close again.

Miami trailed only once, 8-7, before reeling off nine straight points to take control. The Heat led 27-22 after one quarter and stretched it to 57-43 at halftime, shooting 57.1 percent in the first half while holding the Raptors to 37.5 percent.
