Pistons 109, Nets 97: Rodney Stuckey scored 27 points and racked up six assists to lead visiting Detroit to a comeback win over Brooklyn.

Greg Monroe added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons (5-8), who won for just the third time in their last 10. Brandon Jennings chipped in 14 points and 10 assists for Detroit, which forced 18 turnovers.

Joe Johnson amassed 34 points for the Nets (3-10), including a career-best eight 3-pointers. Paul Pierce contributed 19 points for Brooklyn, which lost its fifth straight game.

Brooklyn took a 51-44 lead into halftime, led by Johnson, who had 16 points at the break. Monroe had 11 at the midway point for Detroit, which saw its backcourt of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Brandon Jennings combine for 0-for-13 shooting in the first half.

The Pistons roared back after the break, outscoring the Nets 34-15 in the third quarter behind 10 points from Jennings to take a 78-66 lead heading into the final frame. Brooklyn was able to pull to within 98-92 when Johnson struck for seven points in a span of 2:10 but Stuckey and Jennings help seal the win at the free-throw line for Detroit.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Pistons snapped a four-game losing streak against the Nets. ... F Josh Smith returned to the starting lineup for Detroit, finishing with 13 points after getting shut out against Atlanta on Friday. ... Brooklyn is 1-8 in its last nine games.
