Heat 101, Magic 99: Dwyane Wade scored 27 points and LeBron James hit the decisive shot as part of a 22-point effort as host Miami rallied to knock off Orlando.
Chris Bosh added 15 points as the Heat won their sixth consecutive contest. Miami trailed by 16 at halftime before recovering for its seventh straight win over the Magic.
Glen Davis scored 20 points in his season debut for the Orlando. Arron Afflalo added 18 points and Victor Oladipo tallied 17 for the Magic, who dropped to 0-5 on the road.
Miami took its first lead since it was 4-3 when Bosh made a jumper for an 89-88 lead with 4:33 to play. James hit the go-ahead 18-footer with 15.1 seconds left before Afflalo and Oladipo each missed tying shots in the final seconds.
The Magic were 9-of-13 from 3-point range in the first half while opening up a 55-39 halftime lead. The Heat caught Orlando at 66 on Norris Cole’s basket with 4:09 left in the third quarter before the Magic took a 77-71 edge into the final stanza.
