Bobcats 95, Nets 91: Kemba Walker scored a season-high 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting to lead host Charlotte past struggling Brooklyn.

Gerald Henderson and Ramon Sessions added 13 points apiece as the Bobcats evened their record at 6-6. Jeff Adrien grabbed 10 rebounds, including five of Charlotte’s 17 offensive boards.

Andray Blatche scored a season-best 25 points on 11-of-14 shooting and Joe Johnson added 19 points for the Nets, who lost for the sixth time in seven games. Brook Lopez missed his third straight game with an ankle injury and Deron Williams left in the second quarter after reinjuring his ailing ankle.

The Bobcats led by 10 with 3:44 to play before going scoreless for more than 3 1/2 minutes. Blatche scored four consecutive baskets to pull Brooklyn within 93-91 with 12.1 seconds remaining before Walker hit two free throws with 6.1 seconds to seal it.

Charlotte led 53-50 at halftime and used a 13-0 third-quarter run to take a 68-54 lead on Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s layup with 6:58 left in the quarter. The Bobcats later led by 16 before taking an 83-70 advantage into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Charlotte halted a seven-game losing skid to the Nets. … Williams had four points and two assists before exiting in the second quarter. He had missed Brooklyn’s previous two games. … Bobcats C Al Jefferson (ankle) sat out for the fourth consecutive game.
