Pacers 91, Raptors 84: Paul George scored 17 of his team-high 23 points in the pivotal third quarter as host Indiana remained unbeaten.

George struggled in the first half - shooting just 2-for-10 - but hit from practically everywhere after the break as the Pacers outscored the Raptors 28-13 in the third. Roy Hibbert added 20 points while George Hill chipped in with 14 for Indiana, which equaled the franchise record for the best start to a season at 6-0.

Rudy Gay led all scorers with 30 points for the Raptors, who had just 27 combined points in the second and third quarters. Amir Johnson and Kyle Lowry added 12 points apiece while DeMar DeRozan was held to six points on 2-of-15 shooting.

Trailing 46-44 at the half, the Pacers came out firing in the second half, scoring the first 10 points - capped by a George corner 3 - to vault in front by eight. The advantage grew to double digits later in the quarter, and George brought the Bankers Life Fieldhouse fans out of their seats with a driving dunk and accompanying foul shot as Indiana took a 72-59 lead into the fourth.

Toronto was foiled in its first comeback attempt after going 4 1/2 minutes without a field goal early in the final quarter. Dwight Buycks converted a three-point play and Terrence Ross added a 3-pointer to make it a six-point game in the final minute, but C.J. Watson countered for Indiana with a long jumper and the Raptors didn't challenge again.

GAME NOTEBOOK: DeRozan and George combined to shoot 3-for-19 in the opening half. ... Indiana is the lone unbeaten team in the NBA, holding that distinction for the first time since 1989. ... Gay came into the night shooting just 33.7 percent for the season.
