Pelicans 99, Grizzlies 84: Eric Gordon scored 19 points and Anthony Davis finished with 18 as visiting New Orleans picked up its first road win.

Tyreke Evans had 16 points off the bench and Jrue Holiday chipped in 11 points for the Pelicans, who led by as many as 29 in the fourth quarter before hanging on.

Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with 26 points but left early in the fourth when he took an inadvertent elbow to the face. Marc Gasol was the only other Memphis player in double figures with 11 points, as the Grizzlies got only eight minutes from star forward Zach Randolph, who left in the second quarter to be with his fiance as she delivered the couple's child.

The Pelicans hit 14-of-20 shots in the opening quarter and had a 27-9 run that led into the second to help produce a 10-point halftime advantage. Gordon scored twice inside and Davis had eight points as part of an 18-7 burst to begin the third.

A 22-point advantage entering the fourth ballooned to 86-57 when Brian Roberts scored five points in 25 seconds and Anthony Morrow added a short jumper moments later. Memphis utilized a 16-0 run to get as close as nine points with just over two minutes remaining, but never got any closer.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Memphis G Jerryd Bayless left in the third quarter with a right knee sprain. ... New Orleans had a 39-29 advantage on the glass. ... The Grizzlies made three of their four 3-pointers in the final 7:07, all by Mike Miller.
