Hawks 102, Raptors 95: Al Horford had 22 points and 16 rebounds as Atlanta prevailed in its home opener.

Horford connected on 9-of-14 shot attempts to pace the Hawks, who rebounded from a 118-109 loss to Dallas in their season opener. Kyle Korver hit five 3-pointers en route to a 17-point performance while Jeff Teague had 17 points and 12 assists.

DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 31 points for the Raptors, who fell flat two nights after opening with a win over Boston. Kyle Lowry chipped in 16 points while Rudy Gay added 14 on 6-of-23 from the field.

The teams played a closely contested first half until the final 1:10, when back-to-back 3s from Cartier Martin and Pero Antic highlighted a 13-2 run and guided Atlanta to a 49-39 advantage at the break. Korver's fourth 3-pointer of the night made it a 16-point game with 5:28 left in the third quarter, and Horford followed with a two-handed dunk off a DeMarre Carroll miss as the Hawks went into the fourth ahead 79-68.

Toronto closed to within seven on DeRozan's 20-footer with just under seven minutes remaining, and DeRozan followed two free throws from Horford with back-to-back buckets to make it 88-83. But Horford knocked down a short jumper and Paul Millsap added six points in a 1:49 span to put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Korver knocked down a 3-pointer in the opening minute to extend his streak of games with at least one made 3 to 75 - the fourth-longest run in NBA history. ... Gay went hurtling into the first row of seats behind the basket after being fouled by Elton Brand near the midway point of the second quarter. He was smiling as teammates helped him back to his feet. ... Toronto had just 15 assists on 40 made field goals.
