Heat 103, Spurs 100 (OT): LeBron James hit the go-ahead basket with 1:43 to play in overtime and Chris Bosh blocked Danny Green’s last-ditch 3-point attempt as host Miami evened the NBA Finals at 3-3 in dramatic fashion.

James had 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for his fourth career NBA Finals triple-double and Mario Chalmers added 20 points as the Heat recovered from a 13-point, third-quarter deficit. Ray Allen forced overtime with a 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds left in regulation and Bosh blocked Green’s 3-point shot at the end of the extra session.

Tim Duncan had 30 points and 17 rebounds, Kawhi Leonard added 22 points and 11 rebounds and Tony Parker scored 19 points for San Antonio, which led by five points with 28.2 seconds left in regulation before failing to notch a decisive fourth victory. Game 7 is Thursday in Miami.

The Heat trailed 71-58 with 3:50 left in the third quarter and finally caught the Spurs at 82 on James’ inside hoop with 6:34 to play. The Heat led 89-86 before Parker hit a tying 3-pointer with 1:27 left to start an 8-0 San Antonio run before Miami scored six of the final seven points of regulation.

The Spurs had a 100-97 lead in overtime after Parker’s free throw with 2:42 to go, but didn’t score again. After James hit his go-ahead shot, Allen added two free throws with 1.9 seconds left after stealing the ball from Manu Ginobili.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Duncan scored 25 of his points in the first half on 11-of-13 shooting as the Spurs held a 50-44 halftime lead. … Dwyane Wade added 14 points and Bosh had 10 points and 11 rebounds for Miami. … Green was 1-for-5 from 3-point range in his first poor outing of the series while increasing his NBA Finals 3-point record to 26.
