Spurs 93, Grizzlies 86: Tony Parker scored 37 points on 15-of-21 shooting and visiting San Antonio completed a four-game sweep of Memphis to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007.

Parker scored 25 second-half points and Tim Duncan contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots as the Spurs led for nearly the duration of the contest. San Antonio will be looking for its fifth NBA title since 1999 when it faces either Miami or Indiana in a series that begins June 6.

Quincy Pondexter scored a career postseason-high 22 points, Marc Gasol tallied 14 points and Zach Randolph added 13 for the Grizzlies. Memphis shot just 37.2 percent from the field and was outscored 52-32 in the paint.

Memphis trailed 76-73 with 9:37 to play before the Spurs used an 11-4 surge that featured six points from Duncan for a 10-point edge with 5:18 remaining. The Grizzlies pulled within 89-86 after Gasol’s basket with 48.7 seconds to go before Parker hit four consecutive free throws to seal it.

San Antonio led by as many as 12 points in the opening quarter and held a 44-38 edge at the break. The Spurs opened up another 12-point bulge in the third quarter before Memphis pulled within three later in the period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Parker left briefly in the fourth quarter after being inadvertently hit in the left eye by Gasol and returned 82 seconds later. … The Grizzlies scored just 14 first-quarter points, marking the third time in the series Memphis scored 14 or fewer in the opening 12 minutes. … Randolph experienced a poor shooting series, going 16-for-53 from the field and 12-for-24 from the free-throw line.
