Spurs 93, Grizzlies 89 (OT):
Tim Duncan scored six of his 17 points in the extra session and Tony Parker had 15 points and a personal playoff-best 18 assists as host San Antonio defeated Memphis to take a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

Duncan also had nine rebounds and four blocked shots and Tiago Splitter added 14 points as the Spurs recovered from blowing an 18-point lead with under two minutes remaining in the third quarter. Game 3 is Saturday in Memphis.

Mike Conley and Jerryd Bayless scored 18 points for the Grizzlies, who outscored San Antonio 21-9 in the fourth quarter before tallying just four points in the overtime. Zach Randolph had 15 points and 18 rebounds and Marc Gasol added 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Memphis shot 25.5 percent in the first half to trail 46-31 at halftime and was down 83-70 with less than seven minutes to play in regulation. The Grizzlies used a 15-2 surge to force overtime with a flagrant 1 foul on Manu Ginobili with 26.1 seconds left, leading to two free throws by Tony Allen and the ensuing possession in which Conley made the tying shot with 18.2 seconds left.

Duncan scored San Antonio’s first six points of the overtime for a 91-87 lead with 1:07 to play. The Spurs had a three-point lead when Bayless missed a tying 3-point attempt with 11.8 seconds left and San Antonio’s Cory Joseph hit one of two free throws with 10.6 seconds remaining to make it a two-possession game.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Spurs had 12 blocks, including nine in the first half. … Randolph missed 12-of-18 shots and went 7-for-26 from the field in the two games in San Antonio. … The Spurs were 9-of-25 from 3-point range after setting a franchise postseason record with 14 in Game 1.
