Pacers 93, Knicks 82: George Hill scored 26 points and Paul George collected 18 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists as Indiana cruised past visiting New York to grab a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Lance Stephenson added 13 points and Roy Hibbert grabbed 11 boards for the Pacers, who dominated the glass 54-36. Indiana will try to close out the best-of-seven series at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.

Carmelo Anthony recorded 24 points on 9-of-23 shooting and Raymond Felton scored 14 as the Knicks struggled to 35.6 percent from the field.

The Pacers opened the game with an 11-3 burst and never trailed. The lead swelled to as much as 48-32 late in the second quarter before Anthony drained a jumper at the buzzer to make it a 14-point gap at the break.

Hill scored 14 of Indiana’s 19 points in the third quarter and the Pacers led by as many as 18 in the period before heading into the final quarter with a 67-56 cushion. New York got it to single digits early in the fourth but Stephenson’s deep 3-pointer kicked off an 11-2 spurt that helped put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Anthony has been held without a field goal in the fourth quarter of each of the last two games. He fouled out with two minutes left in Game 4. … New York SG Iman Shumpert (knee) started but played only 16 minutes and went 0-for-6 from the field. J.R. Smith got the bulk of the playing time and went 7-of-22 while scoring 19 points. … Hibbert has at least 11 rebounds in each of the past three games.
