Knicks 105, Pacers 79: Carmelo Anthony led the way with 32 points and nine rebounds as New York exploded late and evened the Eastern Conference semifinals with visiting Indiana at 1-1.

Iman Shumpert had 15 points and Raymond Felton added 14 for the Knicks, who scored the first 20 points of the fourth quarter and dominated the final 16 minutes. Game 3 will be Saturday in Indianapolis.

Paul George scored 20 points and David West had 13 for the Pacers, who were outscored 33-13 in the fourth quarter and committed 21 turnovers which led to 32 points.

New York bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 36-4 run that turned a two-point deficit into a blowout. Anthony had 16 points during the burst, including a 3-pointer with 6:03 left that pushed it to 90-66 and caused Indiana to call a timeout and empty the bench.

The Pacers battled back from a 13-point deficit to take their first lead of the game at 61-60 with 4:20 left in the third. George Hill’s 3-pointer on the next possession gave Indiana a 64-62 edge, but it would not record another field goal until Orlando Johnson hit a 3-pointer with 3:09 left - a span of 12 minutes and 19 seconds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After being dominated in the paint in Game 1, New York outrebounded the Pacers 37-35 and outscored them in the paint 52-40 in Game 2. … Knicks G J.R. Smith went 3-for-15 from the field and is 15-for-57 over the last four contests. … Indiana C Roy Hibbert was held to six points but collected 12 rebounds and four blocks.
