Grizzlies 118, Clippers 105: Zach Randolph and Mike Conley scored 23 points apiece as host Memphis finished off Los Angeles in Game 6 to win the series 4-2 and advance to the Western Conference semifinals.

Tony Allen added a career playoff-high 19 points and Jerryd Bayless scored 18 off the bench for the Grizzlies, who got some revenge after being knocked out in the first round by the Clippers in seven games last season. No. 5 seed Memphis will open the next round at top-seeded Oklahoma City on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Chris Paul had 28 points and eight assists and Matt Barnes hit six 3-pointers en route to 30 points off the bench as the Clippers dropped their fourth straight game after taking the first two in the series. Blake Griffin (high ankle sprain) was limited to nine points in 14 minutes off the bench.

The Grizzlies led by as much as 15 points early in the fourth quarter before Paul and Caron Butler combined on a 10-1 run to chop it to 103-97 with 5:15 left. But Conley hit a 3-pointer to end the Memphis drought and Bayless responded to Butler’s jumper with another from beyond the arc to push it back to double figures.

The Grizzlies shot 20 free throws in the first quarter and went into the break 24-for-30 from the line as Los Angeles tried to establish a physical presence. The foul disparity led Memphis to a 58-53 lead at the half and it would swell to as much as 15 in the third before the Clippers cut it to 92-79 heading into the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Paul drew a second technical foul and was ejected with 2:29 left in the game. Los Angeles was whistled for five technicals, with Butler, Griffin and Barnes each drawing one. … Randolph, who picked up a technical foul during a brief tussle with Griffin in the third quarter, drew his second technical with 1:57 left and waved to the crowd on his way into the tunnel. … Memphis’ 15 made free throws in the first quarter marked the most for any team in a playoff game during the first quarter in the last 10 seasons.
