Wilson Chandler scored 16 of his 21 points in the first half as Denver clinched the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and ended the regular season on a 23-game home winning streak.

Andre Iguodala scored 20 points and Ty Lawson added 14 points and seven assists for the Nuggets, who will open the playoffs at home on Saturday against Golden State. Denver, which has won eight of its last nine games overall, finished a team-record 38-3 at home - tied for the seventh-best record in NBA history.

Anthony Randolph and Timofey Mozgov came off the bench to record their first double-doubles of the season. Randolph had 11 points and a season-high 14 rebounds while Mozgov had 10 and 10.

Luis Scola had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns (25-57), who finished with the worst record in the Western Conference. Phoenix, which lost 12 of its final 14 games to wrap up its third straight losing season, was outscored 80-40 in the paint.

The Nuggets went on an 11-2 run to end the first quarter and take a 35-20 lead, while a 10-0 spurt gave them a 47-25 advantage with 7:35 left in the half. Denver led 66-40 at halftime after shooting 60 percent, with Chandler 7-for-11 from the floor.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nuggets F Kenneth Faried missed his second straight game with a sprained ankle but hopes to be ready for the first-round playoff series. ... Scola has averaged 22.2 points in his last five games in Denver. ... The Nuggets, whose 57 victories were the most in its NBA history, went 3-1 against Golden State this season.
