Suns 119, Rockets 112: Luis Scola had 26 points and 15 rebounds and Goran Dragic added 21 points and 14 assists as Phoenix snapped its seven-game home losing streak.

Houston cut the deficit to 114-109 with 1:28 remaining, but Phoenix scored the next four points and won for the third time in their last 18 games. The Rockets fell one game behind sixth-place Golden State in the Western Conference.

Chandler Parsons scored 24 points and Carlos Delfino had a season-high 23 for Houston, which trailed 90-78 with 1:12 left in the third quarter. James Harden missed all seven of his shots from 3-point range and finished with 16 points.

Jeremy Lin chipped in 20 points and helped the Rockets rally in the final quarter, when they used an 11-3 run to cut the deficit to 103-101 with 6:20 to play. Houston could fall to the No. 8 seed in the West with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Wednesday’s regular-season finale.

P.J. Tucker added 21 points and Markieff Morris had 20 points, seven rebounds, five steals and a career-high six blocks for Phoenix, which closed the first half on a 17-6 run and led 67-61 at the break. The Suns shot 54 percent in the first half and 49.5 percent overall.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Houston G Patrick Beverley was limited to 17 minutes after requiring five stitches over his left eye in the first half. … The Rockets fell to 6-15 in the second game of a back-to-back. …. Delfino was 6-for-9 from beyond the arc while the rest of the team went 5-for-20.
