Pistons 109, 76ers 101: Greg Monroe collected 27 points and 16 rebounds as Detroit closed out its home slate with a victory over Philadelphia.

Will Bynum added 22 points off the bench and Kyle Singler scored 16 for the Pistons, who matched their season high with a fourth straight win.

Dorell Wright recorded 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists off the bench and Jrue Holiday scored 14 as the 76ers fell to 10-30 on the road and had a modest two-game winning streak come to an end.

Detroit took control in the third quarter, getting seven points from Brandon Knight during an 11-2 burst that erased a five-point deficit. Singler scored five points and Bynum hit a 3-pointer during a 12-4 run that closed the period and gave the Pistons an 84-75 cushion heading into the fourth.

Monroe scored the first five points of the fourth quarter and Philadelphia never mounted much of a challenge. Wright’s 3-pointer with five seconds left provided the final margin.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
76ers coach Doug Collins will reportedly resign after Wednesday’s season finale at Indiana. … Detroit will finish up its season at Brooklyn on Wednesday. … Philadelphia rookie G Justin Holiday scored a season-high 11 points off the bench.
