Timberwolves 105, Suns 93: Ricky Rubio scored a career-high 24 points and had 10 assists as host Minnesota snapped a three-game losing streak.

J.J. Barea had 16 points off the bench and Derrick Williams scored 15 as all five starters were in double figures for the Timberwolves, who outscored Phoenix 55-40 in the second half.

Markieff Morris scored 20 points, Jared Dudley added 16 and Goran Dragic had his third straight double-double with 10 points and 14 assists as the Suns lost for the 11th time in 12 games.

Luis Scola had 12 points and eight rebounds in the first half to help Phoenix take a 53-50 edge into the break. Minnesota used a late 11-2 burst in the third quarter to carry a 77-73 lead into the fourth.

Barea scored nine points in the first four minutes of the final quarter as the Timberwolves moved ahead by 10. After the Suns got back within six, Rubio had a personal 7-0 run to extend the lead to 101-88 with 1:59 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rubio also had five steals to help Minnesota accumulate a season-high 17. ... Timberwolves C Nikola Pekovic missed his second straight game with a left calf contusion while Suns C Jermaine O'Neal also sat out the game due to a bruised shin. ... Prior to the game, the Timberwolves honored coach Rick Adelman for becoming the eighth coach in league history to win 1,000 games.
