Clippers 111, Timberwolves 95: Chris Paul led the way with 19 points and 11 assists as Los Angeles easily handled visiting Minnesota to grab its third straight win.

Blake Griffin added 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists and Willie Green went 3-for-3 from 3-point range en route to 15 points for the Clippers, who are two games behind the Denver Nuggets for the No. 3 spot in the Western Conference.

Nikola Pekovic scored 20 points and Derrick Williams had 13 and 10 boards as the Timberwolves dropped their second game in as many nights.

Griffin went 8-for-11 from the field in the first half while Paul went 4-for-5 with nine assists to help Los Angeles take a 58-46 lead into the break. Minnesota tried to get back into it in the third quarter, pulling to within 69-66 after Luke Ridnour’s jumper, but never regained the lead.

The Clippers ended the third on a 19-6 run to take a 16-point lead into the final period. Los Angeles led by as much as 23 points in the fourth and was up 107-85 after Eric Bledsoe’s deep 3-pointer with 3:05 left before emptying the bench in the final minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: All five starters and seven players total scored in double figures for the Clippers. Lamar Odom only scored two points but chipped in 13 rebounds and four assists. … Los Angeles went 11-for-21 from 3-point range, led by Green and Paul (2-for-2). … Minnesota PG Ricky Rubio went 2-for-8 from the floor and is 3-for-31 over the last three games.
