Knicks 102, Heat 90: Carmelo Anthony matched a career high with 50 points on 18-of-26 shooting as New York snapped Miami's home winning streak at 17 games.

J.R. Smith added 14 points and Raymond Felton contributed 10 points and nine assists for the Knicks, who extended the NBA's longest active winning streak to nine games and claimed the season series from the Heat. New York (.644) moved ahead of Indiana (.640) in the race for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Chris Bosh scored 23 points and Mike Miller added 18 for Miami, which was without LeBron James (hamstring), Dwyane Wade (ankle) and Mario Chalmers (ankle). The Heat lost for only the second time in 31 games and the first time at home since Jan. 4 against Chicago.

Miami used a blistering second quarter to take a 58-50 lead into halftime, but Anthony scored 15 points in the third quarter to help the Knicks claim a 78-76 advantage entering the fourth.

New York led 90-88 with less than five minutes left when Anthony took over once again. He hit a mid-range jumper and buried a 3-pointer on consecutive possessions to push it to 95-88 and the Knicks eased away from there.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami's home winning streak fell one game shy of the franchise record of 18 straight from Jan. 23-April 5, 2005. … Anthony recorded his sixth 40-point game of the season and the 27th of his career. … New York C Tyson Chandler returned after missing 10 games with a bulging disc. He had one point, two rebounds and two blocks in 24 minutes.
