DeMarcus Cousins had his way with a small Phoenix lineup and collected 34 points and 14 rebounds to guide visiting Sacramento to an easy win.

Isaiah Thomas added 23 points and eight assists and Patrick Patterson chipped in 10 points and 10 boards off the bench for the Kings, who have won back-to-back road games for only the second time this season.

Luis Scola had 25 points and P.J. Tucker scored 18 for the Suns, who sat center Jermaine O’Neal (calf) for the third time in four games and left point guard Goran Dragic (rest) out of the lineup for a second straight day.

Cousins scored 15 straight points for Sacramento in the final 3:47 of the first quarter to help turn a one-point advantage into a 38-32 gap at the end of the period. Phoenix tied it briefly in the second quarter but Cousins bookended an 18-4 burst with a pair of baskets to send the Kings into the locker room with a 64-50 lead.

The Suns got it back to within 94-87 with eight minutes left in the game but Patterson hit two straight shots to spark a 15-4 run that put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phoenix gave a second straight start to rookie PG Kendall Marshall over Dragic. Marshall collected nine points and 10 assists. … Sacramento outrebounded the Suns 50-37 and outscored them in the paint 62-42. … The Kings improved to 8-30 on the road.
