Raptors 92, Bobcats 78: Rudy Gay scored 10 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter and Amir Johnson added 12 points and a career-high 21 rebounds to help host Toronto pull away.

Sebastian Telfair contributed 11 points off the bench and Jonas Valanciunas added 10 for the Raptors, who won for just the third time in 10 games.

Gerald Henderson scored 22 points and Kemba Walker added 20 for Charlotte, which was trying to notch consecutive wins for the first time since Nov. 19-21. The Bobcats, who have lost 11 of their last 12, shot 32.5 percent and were 6-for-22 from 3-point range.

The Raptors led by as many as 12 in the first half and took a 48-42 lead into halftime. The lead was as large as 14 in the third quarter, but Charlotte chipped back within 69-68 heading into the fourth.

The Bobcats briefly took a 70-69 lead on a pair of Henderson free throws with 10:55 left, but Gay's jumper at the other end set off a quick 6-0 spurt and Toronto did not trail again.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Johnson has a team-high 13 double-doubles and became the fifth player in franchise history with 50 games of 10 or more boards. … Henderson has scored in double figures in 18 of his last 20 games. … Charlotte has committed 13 or fewer turnovers in its past seven games.
