Magic 105, Hornets 102: Arron Afflalo scored 11 of his 26 points in the final quarter and hit the go-ahead basket with 38.2 seconds left as visiting Orlando overcame a 17-point, third-quarter deficit to beat New Orleans and snap a four-game losing streak.

Tobias Harris and Jameer Nelson added 15 points apiece and Moe Harkless scored 13 for the Magic, who won for only the fifth time in their last 36 games.

Anthony Davis had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Eric Gordon and Greivis Vasquez also scored 17 points for New Orleans. Vasquez’s last-second 3-point attempt to force overtime was off the mark.

The Hornets had a 61-44 lead after Gordon’s 3-pointer with 8:02 left in the third quarter. Orlando used a 22-5 run to tie the game at 66 on Afflalo’s basket, and had a 78-76 lead with 10 minutes to play.

New Orleans went on a 21-10 surge to take a nine-point lead with 3:30 remaining, but Orlando responded with an 11-1 burst over the next 2:10 and took a 99-98 lead on Al Harrington’s 3-pointer. Vasquez scored to get the Hornets back in the lead with 1:06 left before Afflalo put Orlando ahead to stay.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Orlando scored 18 points off turnovers while New Orleans tallied just two. … Davis (shoulder) was back in the lineup after missing back-to-back contests. … Nelson (knee) had missed the previous six games.
