Pacers 114, Pistons 82: David West had 18 points and eight rebounds as one of six players in double figures as the host Pacers rolled over the Pistons.

George Hill scored 15 points and Orlando Johnson tallied 14 on 5-of-5 shooting and Indiana never trailed while winning for the eighth time in 10 games. The Pacers have won three straight games by an average of 30 points.

Will Bynum scored 17 points and Viacheslav Kravtsov added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit, which shot 35.4 percent from the field and went 3-of-19 from 3-point range.

Indiana led 13-2 just over three minutes into the contest and was up by 17 after one quarter. The halftime lead was 60-36 and the onslaught continued in the third quarter as Detroit missed its first 10 field-goal attempts and notched its first second-half basket on Rodney Stuckey’s layup with 5:35 left in the stanza.

The Indiana lead reached 40 for the first time on Paul George’s basket with 1:10 left in the quarter and the Pacers led by as many as 43 in the final quarter. Indiana shot 56.2 percent from the field and was 10-of-14 from 3-point range.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Indiana decided prior to the contest that F Danny Granger (knee) wouldn’t make his season debut. He could play Saturday when the two teams meet again in Detroit. … The Pistons were just 21-of-37 from the free-throw line. … The Pacers had a 52-34 edge in points in the paint.
