Heat 103, Hawks 90: Ray Allen scored 13 of his 15 points in a 40-point fourth quarter and combined with Shane Battier to ignite a stirring comeback as visiting Miami extended its winning streak to a season-high eight games.
LeBron James had 24 points and 11 assists and Battier added 17 points, including three of his five 3-pointers in the final 12 minutes, as the Heat erased a 10-point deficit for their seventh straight win in Atlanta.
Al Horford scored a game-high 27 points for the Hawks, who had their modest two-game winning streak snapped with their sixth straight loss at the hands of Miami. Josh Smith had 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for Atlanta.
Atlanta used a 20-5 spurt late in the second quarter to take a 49-45 lead into halftime before Kyle Korver buried a pair of 3-pointers in a 10-0 burst to extend the lead to 73-63 after three quarters.
Battier drilled a pair of 3-pointers as the Heat opened the fourth with a 13-0 run to go ahead for good. Battier and Allen buried back-to-back shots from behind the arc to extend the lead to 86-79 before Allen drilled another 3-pointer to cap a 7-0 burst for a 95-84 edge.
GAME NOTEBOOK: James had his franchise-record streak of 30-point games halted at seven. ... Korver was 4-of-5 from long range to extend his franchise-record streak with at least one 3-pointer to 46 games. ... Dwyane Wade scored 20 points for Miami, which has won its last five games by double digits.
