Mike Conley, Zach Randolph and Austin Daye scored 16 points apiece as the Grizzlies won back-to-back games for the first time since trading leading scorer Rudy Gay in the three-team deal that brought Prince, Daye and Ed Davis to Memphis.

The Grizzlies shot 51.9 percent and outscored the Timberwolves 55-36 in the middle two periods to hand them their fourth straight defeat and 15 in the last 17 games.

Starting guards Ricky Rubio and Luke Ridnour scored 17 points apiece for Minnesota, which dropped to 6-18 away from home and lost for the 10th time in the last 11 matchups with Memphis.

The Grizzlies used an 8-0 spurt to take a 10-point edge into halftime before Prince scored seven points in an 11-2 run in the third to build the lead to 19. Minnesota never got the lead under double digits thereafter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Prince hit all eight of his shots and was 5-for-5 in the third quarter to help the Grizzlies pull away. ... The injury-riddled Timberwolves were missing F Andrei Kirilenko (quadriceps) and PG J.J. Barea (foot). ... Daye had his best outing since scoring 20 points against Atlanta on Jan. 4 while a member of the Detroit Pistons.
