Hornets 111, Hawks 100: Greivis Vasquez recorded his first career triple-double with 21 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds, helping New Orleans snap a four-game road losing streak.

Eric Gordon scored 27 points, Ryan Anderson added 19 off the bench and Robin Lopez had 17 for the Hornets, who shot 52.3 percent in winning back-to-back games.

Josh Smith led the Hawks with 23 points, while Jeff Teague finished with 21 points and nine assists.

After Atlanta went up 66-62 on Kyle Korver’s jumper in the third quarter, the Hornets responded with a 15-2 run over the next five minutes. Gordon and Anderson nailed 3-pointers and Roger Mason Jr. capped the spurt with a bucket for a 77-68 lead with 2:31 left in the frame.

The Hawks battled back in the fourth, getting within 101-96 on Smith’s basket with 2:45 remaining. But Vasquez and Gordon each hit a pair of free throws during a 6-0 run to push the Hornets ahead 107-96.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Zaza Pachulia returned to the Hawks’ lineup after missing four games with an Achilles injury. He scored six points in 17 minutes. … Korver broke Mookie Blaylock’s franchise record by hitting a 3-pointer in 43 consecutive games. … Vasquez entered the game averaging 9.4 assists – third in the NBA behind Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul.
