Nets 93, Pistons 90: Brook Lopez collected 17 points and nine rebounds, Joe Johnson added 16 points and Will Bynum missed a potential tying 3-pointer at the buzzer as Brooklyn rallied in the fourth quarter to snap a streak of 10 straight losses in Detroit.

Deron Williams contributed 12 points and nine assists and Reggie Evans had 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Nets, who trailed by as many as 13. Brooklyn has won two meetings with Detroit this season by a combined five points.

Greg Monroe recorded his fourth consecutive double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pistons, who have lost three straight and five of six. Bynum contributed 13 points and seven assists off the bench while Brandon Knight and Kyle Singler each added 12 points.

The Pistons seemingly took control with a 10-0 run early in the second quarter, holding the Nets scoreless for four minutes, and they pushed the margin as wide as 46-33 on Bynum's layup with 2:38 left in the half.

The Nets chipped away and set up a wild finish with 11 lead changes in the fourth quarter. Williams hit a pair of free throws and a step-back jumper to give Brooklyn its largest lead at 86-83, and the Nets sealed it by making five of six free throws over the final 1:14.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Williams went over 5,000 assists in his career, becoming the seventh player since 1985-86 to reach the milestone in fewer than 600 games along with Muggsy Bogues, Tim Hardaway, Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul and John Stockton. … Pistons rookie C Andre Drummond left in the second quarter with a sore back and did not return. He did record two blocks, though, giving him at least one block in 18 consecutive games. … The Nets improved to 2-7 in road contests on the second night of back-to-back sets.
