Bucks 117, Pistons 90: Brandon Jennings scored 20 of his 30 points in a remarkable third quarter as visiting Milwaukee shook off a slow start to rout Detroit.
Jennings, who scored 18 third-quarter points in his last game, scored 16 straight during the third on Tuesday, including four straight 3-pointers that gave the Bucks an 85-56 advantage. Mike Dunleavy added 17 points off the bench for Milwaukee, which has won five of its last six.
Rookie Andre Drummond had 18 points and a season-high 18 rebounds for the Pistons, who had 21 turnovers, compared to just 10 for the Bucks. Greg Monroe chipped in 14 points and eight boards.
The Pistons led 30-19 early in the second quarter before Dunleavy converted a four-point play. Including that rarity, the Bucks would outscore the hosts 33-12 for the rest of the quarter to take a 10-point lead at the break.
It was a 13-point Milwaukee advantage midway through the third when Jennings had his personal 16-0 run. He needed just over two minutes to put together the outburst, during which he also had a steal and a rebound. Detroit would never get closer than 22 points thereafter.
