Grizzlies 94, Warriors 87:
Zach Randolph had 19 points and 12 rebounds while Rudy Gay scored 18 points as visiting Memphis handed Golden State its second straight defeat.

Mike Conley tallied 16 points and Marc Gasol contributed 12 and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies defeated the Warriors for the eighth consecutive time.

Stephen Curry scored 24 points, Klay Thompson added 20, seven rebounds and seven assists and David Lee had 14 points and 10 boards for Golden State.

The Warriors recovered from a 14-point, first-half deficit and finally caught the Grizzlies at 74-74 on a basket by Curry with 7:34 remaining. The game was tied at 82-82 before Gasol hit a basket with 3:11 left, and Conley followed with four straight points to make it a six-point lead with 1:51 to play.

Curry’s 3-pointer with 32.2 seconds left pulled the Warriors within 90-87, but Randolph hit two free throws with 13.2 seconds to go and added a layup in the final seconds as Memphis held on.

The Grizzlies used a 16-2 run to take a 13-point lead midway through the second quarter. The advantage grew to 55-41 on a 3-pointer by Jerryd Bayless before Golden State scored the final five points of the half.

Memphis was up by 10 after a three-point play by Gasol with 6:05 left in the third. But the Grizzlies tallied just four points the rest of the period as Golden State pulled within 68-63 entering the fourth quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Randolph’s double-double was his NBA-leading 23rd. Lee’s was his 21st. … The Warriors were outrebounded 43-38 and dropped to 2-10 when losing the battle of the boards. … Memphis was just 2-of-17 from 3-point range. … Golden State’s Carl Landry barely missed a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
