Heat 119, Mavericks 109 (OT):
LeBron James had 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists and Dwyane Wade had 27 points and 10 rebounds as host Miami dominated overtime to defeat Dallas.

Chris Bosh added 17 points and Ray Allen tallied 15 for the Heat, who outscored the Mavericks 16-6 in the extra session to beat Dallas for the fourth consecutive time. The Mavericks have lost 10 of 12 games.

O.J. Mayo scored 30 points and Dirk Nowitzki tallied a season-high 19, including the tying Dallas basket to force overtime with 3.9 seconds left. Vince Carter had 15 points and nine rebounds and Chris Kaman added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Heat led 87-83 after a basket by Bosh with eight minutes left in regulation. Dallas scored seven straight points and 14 of the next 18 and took a 97-91 lead on Mayo’s 3-pointer with 4:09 remaining. Miami went ahead on Shane Battier’s 3-pointer with 14.5 seconds remaining before Nowitzki tied the contest.

Dallas jumped out to an 11-point lead midway through the opening quarter and led most of the half. Miami caught the Mavericks at 48-48 in the final minute of the half before Dallas took a 52-50 lead into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
James has scored 20 or more points in all 30 games this season. Hall of Famer George Gervin set the record of 45 to start a season for the 1981-82 San Antonio Spurs. … Mayo had scored 10 or fewer points in five of the last seven games before hitting 12 of 21 shots for his fourth 30-point outing of the season. … Miami is 3-0 in overtime this season while Dallas drops to 0-6. The Mavericks have lost nine consecutive overtime games overall.
