Pistons 96, Bucks 94:
Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points - including the tying basket and the go-ahead free throws in the final minute - as host Detroit raced out early and held off Milwaukee.

The Bucks got 30 points and nine assists from Monta Ellis and 24 points off the bench from Ersan Ilyasova, but it wasn't enough for a third consecutive win.

Greg Monroe collected 14 points and 10 rebounds while Jason Maxiell had 10 and 10 for the Pistons, who scored the game's first 13 points and never trailed until falling behind 94-92 with 1:06 left.

Detroit pushed the margin as wide as 64-49 early in the third quarter, but Milwaukee chipped away and used a 13-0 run to take its first lead on Ellis' jumper from 17 feet.

Prince answered quickly with a bucket to tie it and hit a pair of free throws with 10 seconds left for the lead, and Ellis misfired from the right wing with a chance to tie it at the buzzer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After scoring 60 or more points in consecutive games, Detroit's bench contributed 33 on Sunday, with Charlie Villanueva's 11 leading the way. … The Pistons were without reserve guard Rodney Stuckey for a second consecutive game because of a sprained left ankle. … Detroit dominated inside, outscoring the Bucks 60-38 in the paint and holding a 47-33 edge on the boards.
