Pistons 109, Heat 99: Reserve Will Bynum scored 13 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter as host Detroit held off a comeback and snapped Miami's six-game winning streak.

Charlie Villanueva added 18 points off the bench and buried four 3-pointers, including one to stem the Heat's rally as the Pistons halted a seven-game losing streak at the hands of Miami.

Austin Daye added 11 points and rookie Andre Drummond added 10 points and 10 rebounds as Detroit got 64 points from the four reserves two days after the bench produced 85 points in a double-overtime loss at Atlanta.

LeBron James scored a game-high 35 points and Chris Bosh added 28 for the Heat, who fell to only 6-5 on the road and lost to the Pistons for the second time in 14 meetings. Miami played without suspended guard Dwyane Wade.

James scored 12 points to power Miami to a 32-17 first-quarter lead, but Detroit's reserves combined to score 36 points in the second quarter for a 58-52 lead at the break. The Pistons led by as many as 17 points in the third and used a 9-0 spurt in the fourth to pull away after the Heat closed within 81-77.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wade was suspended one game for a low blow on Charlotte guard Ramon Sessions in Wednesday's game. The Heat released a statement Friday in support of Wade, noting he is "the type of player ... that defenses take privileges with." ... Detroit shot a blistering 72.7 percent (16-for-22) in the second quarter en route to 41 points - its first 40-point quarter since April 12, 2012, against Charlotte. ... Bynum, who scored 31 points in the loss to the Hawks, was 3-of-4 from behind the arc as the Pistons connected on 12 of 19 3-pointers.
