76ers 99, Grizzlies 89: Dorell Wright scored a season-best 28 points and Spencer Hawes added a season-high 20 as visiting Philadelphia defeated Memphis.

Jrue Holiday and Thaddeus Young added 13 points apiece and Nick Young tallied 12 as the 76ers snapped a six-game road losing streak during the second contest of an eight-game excursion.

Zach Randolph scored 23 points and Marc Gasol had 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Grizzlies, who were without forward Rudy Gay due to a personal matter.

Philadelphia trailed by 10 points with five minutes left in the first half before closing with a 14-2 run to take a 49-47 halftime lead. The 76ers led 75-70 after three quarters.

Memphis pulled within two early in the final stanza before Philadelphia rolled off 13 straight points and increased its lead to 88-73 on a 3-pointer by Royal Ivey with 7:51 left. The Grizzlies cut their deficit to seven with just over four minutes to go but Wright’s fifth and final 3-pointer of the contest made it 95-84 with 3:15 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia went 9-of-16 from 3-point range. … Grizzlies PG Mike Conley scored 10 points but was just 3-of-17 from the field. … Wright started for the first time since Nov. 10 because Jason Richardson was scratched due to back issues.
