Raptors 93, Magic 90: DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points and host Toronto staved off a late comeback to match its longest winning streak in nearly three years.

Jose Calderon added 13 points and nine assists and Terrence Ross scored 13 as the Raptors overcame an early injury to rookie center Jonas Valanciunas to notch their first five-game winning streak since Jan. 22-31, 2010.

Arron Afflalo scored 11 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and Nikola Vucevic added 16 and 12 boards for Orlando, which saw its four-game winning streak snapped in the club's first contest without starting forward Glen Davis.

Toronto hit its final six shots of the third quarter to take a 71-62 lead into the fourth. The Raptors moved ahead by 11 with 5:54 to play when Ross buried a 3-pointer and followed it with another basket 22 seconds later.

The Magic refused to fold and ran off 10 consecutive points, capped by Jameer Nelson's 3-pointer, to slice the deficit to 91-90 with 55 seconds left. Amir Johnson made two free throws with 42.6 seconds to play before J.J. Redick missed a tying 3-point attempt with seven seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Valanciunas, the No. 5 overall pick, fractured the ring finger on his right hand during a scramble for a loose ball. He had started every game and entered Friday's matchup averaging 8.1 points and 5.4 rebounds. ... Magic rookie Andrew Nicholson, who grew up in suburban Toronto, made his first career start in place of Davis, who could be out a month with a shoulder injury sustained Wednesday. ... Vucevic registered his fifth straight game with double-digit rebounds to help Orlando to a 45-32 edge on the glass.
