Kings 99, Trail Blazers 80: DeMarcus Cousins had 19 points and 12 rebounds and John Salmons had 19 points and 11 assists as visiting Sacramento increased its winning streak to a season-high three games.

Aaron Brooks scored 14 points and Francisco Garcia and Jason Thompson added 12 points apiece as the Kings won on the road for the first time in seven away games.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 17 points and 10 rebounds, JJ Hickson recorded 14 points and 15 rebounds and Wesley Matthews also scored 14 for Portland, which lost for the sixth time in eight games.

Sacramento had a two-point halftime lead before extending its advantage to 69-59 on a 3-pointer by Brooks with 3:55 left in the third quarter. The Kings were up by 12 entering the final stanza.

Portland was within 86-76 after a 3-pointer by Damian Lillard with 7:20 left. Isaiah Thomas and Travis Outlaw each scored five points during a 10-0 run that saw Sacramento increase its lead to 20 with 4:39 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Kings G Tyreke Evans (knee) sat out for the fourth time in five games. … Lillard had just 12 points, matching his second-lowest output of the season. … Sacramento committed just 10 turnovers while forcing Portland into 19 miscues.
