Timberwolves 105, 76ers 88: Alexey Shved scored 17 points and visiting Minnesota used a rare hot shooting night to dominate Philadelphia.

Minnesota, which took the lead for good midway through the first quarter, fell two points shy of its season high and shot 53.2 percent from the field. The Timberwolves entered the game averaging 92.5 points and shooting 42 percent. Minnesota also hit a season-high 13 3-pointers.

Josh Howard scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Jose Barea added 11 points and 10 assists for Minnesota, which moved back to .500. Seven players reached double figures for the Timberwolves and Kevin Love, who had recorded a double-double in all six games since returning from a broken hand, contributed six points and 10 boards.

Evan Turner led Philadelphia with 19 points. Jason Richardson scored 14 while Thaddeus Young and Jrue Holiday added 13 apiece.

Minnesota shot 59.5 percent in the first half and went 7-for-12 from 3-point range as 10 players got on the scoresheet, and its bench outscored Philadelphia's by a 32-4 margin. The Timberwolves had an 11-0 run in the first quarter and scored 10 straight points to start the second in building a 23-point lead.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota F Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) missed his third straight game. ... G Nick Young, one of Philadelphia's top reserves, missed his second straight game with a toe injury. ... Sixers C Kwame Brown, who didn't play Saturday against Chicago, scored one point in 12 minutes.
