Gerald Wallace scored 12 of his 20 points in the second half and Joe Johnson led the way with 22 as visiting Brooklyn took over after the break and cruised past Orlando.

Andray Blatche started at center for the injured Brook Lopez and recorded 14 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who have won five straight.

Glen Davis scored 16 points and E’Twaun Moore added 13 in a rare start for the Magic, who went 1-for-11 from 3-point range in their third consecutive setback.

Orlando took a brief 48-45 lead early in the third quarter before Brooklyn began to take control. Wallace hit three 3-pointers and Johnson added another as the Nets scored on seven straight possessions during a 17-6 surge.

The lead grew to 67-56 on Wallace’s fourth 3-pointer of the third quarter and reached as high as 95-75 when MarShon Brooks hit two free throws with 3:42 left in the game.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Magic starting PG Jameer Nelson (Achilles) missed the game. He is listed as day-to-day. … Orlando G J.J. Redick, who has bounced back and forth between the starting lineup and the bench, logged 27 minutes as a reserve on Friday but went 0-of-4 from the floor and finished with two points. … Lopez (foot) was diagnosed with a mild sprain and will miss the next game as well.
