Raptors 101, Suns 97: DeMar DeRozan collected 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists and Amir Johnson came off the bench to add 16 points and six rebounds as host Toronto held off Phoenix to snap a six-game losing streak.

The Suns had four shots in the final minute that would have tied it or given them the lead but misfired on each. Andrea Bargnani secured the rebound after Shannon Brown's miss with three seconds left and made two free throws to seal the win.

Kyle Lowry added 15 points and seven rebounds and backup point guard Jose Calderon chipped in 13 points and nine assists for the Raptors.

Marcin Gortat, Brown and Jared Dudley each scored 14 to lead Phoenix. Gortat also had a team-high six rebounds and five assists while Goran Dragic added 13 points and five assists and Michael Beasley contributed 12 and six assists.

The Suns dropped to 2-7 on the road and lost for just the second time in their past 16 meetings with Toronto. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak at Air Canada Centre dating to 2004.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phoenix has lost consecutive games to the Raptors for the first time since Jan. 4 and Feb. 10 of 2004. … DeRozan's three-point play at the end of the third quarter capped a 10-2 run that put Toronto in front. … Mickael Pietrus scored six points in 32 minutes in his Raptors debut after signing Thursday.
