Wizards 84, Trail Blazers 82: Jordan Crawford came off the bench to score 19 points and host Washington withstood a furious comeback to post its first victory after opening the season with 12 consecutive losses.

Crawford hit a huge 3-pointer with 2:06 to play to put the Wizards in front 82-80 after Portland had ripped off 16 consecutive points to erase a 79-64 deficit and take a one-point lead.

Emeka Okafor buried a pair of free throws with 39 seconds to play and the Wizards held on to the end for the victory. Trevor Ariza scored 14 points and Kevin Seraphin added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Washington.

Rookie Damian Lillard and Nicolas Batum each scored 20 points and J.J. Hickson had 15 points and a season-high 19 boards for Portland, which fell to 0-3 on its season-high seven-game road trip.

The Wizards used a 32-10 run to take a 77-62 lead on a three-point play by Nene with just over 9 1/2 minutes left, but LaMarcus Aldridge had six of his 17 points in the 16-0 run to put the Trail Blazers ahead 80-79 with 2:27 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lillard became the first rookie to score at least 12 points in each of his first 15 games since center Dikembe Mutombo in 1991. ... Washington's Shaun Livingston and Nene were back in the lineup after each sat out Monday's game with an injury. ... Hickson recorded his eighth double-double to become one of 10 NBA players with at least eight this season.
