Heat 113, Rockets 110: LeBron James scored 32 of his game-high 38 points in the second half as visiting Miami posted its fifth win in six games.

James collected 10 rebounds, Chris Bosh had 24 points and 10 boards and Dwyane Wade added 19 points as the Heat improved to 2-1 on their six-game road trip.

Chandler Parsons was 5-of-10 from beyond the arc en route to a career-high 25 points and James Harden chipped in 22 for Houston, which has lost six straight meetings with Miami.

A layup by Udonis Haslem with 10:48 remaining in the fourth quarter brought Miami within 87-86, but Omer Asik scored four points during a 7-0 run that increased the lead to eight. The Heat stayed close until James converted a driving layup with 18.6 seconds left to put them ahead 111-110.

Jeremy Lin missed a wide-open 3-point attempt with 9.9 seconds to go, but Wade gave Houston life by failing to sink two free throws. Bosh was not so generous, hitting both of his shots from the line, and Harden missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: James scored 16 points in each of the final two quarters. ... Parsons has hit at least one 3-pointer in every game this season. ... The loss dropped Houston to 3-1 against the Eastern Conference. ... Asik recorded a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
